In keeping with the vision 2030 plan to have Barbados fueled by renewable energy and reducing our Carbon footprint. This IDB funded project will see the installation of 4.1 PV solar plants at 7 locations. This project is being managed by the Project Executing Unit (PEU) with Gamma solutions ( a Spanish energy services company) as the contractor.

The systems are located in the following locations:

• 3 locations at BNOCL (a 1MW in the area close to well number 4.   To date these panels have been installed and are awaiting connection.
• A 0.4 MW carport in the vicinity of the Accounts Department- This aspect of the project has not been started as yet.  This area will carry 3-6 charging ports);
• 0.6 MW Woodbourne 105 will have .825 MW Woodbourne 111 .675
• Lower Greys 8 - .25 MW system
• Lower Greys 12- .2 MW
• Work at Woodbourne 105 and 111 have been started and PV Systems are in place, likewise Lower Greys has completed and is awaiting connection
• NPC- .15MW CAR Port System-   remedial work has been started for this project
