Who We Are
Community Involvement
BNOCL takes a proactive stance in community development and therefore undertakes community youth development activities. We have worked closely with schools by facilitating professional development workshops and school tours of our operations.
In addition, the company is closely involved with its adopted school, the Gordon Walters Primary School which has benefited significantly from donations of school equipment, eg a photocopier, tablets, etc as well as financial support for its healthy eating programme and the use of the company’s grounds for training and sporting activities.
When the Ministry of Education entreated corporate citizens to assist its schools to transition to online teaching for students when the country was thrust suddenly into lockdowns precipitated by the Covid-19 pandemic, BNOCL readily participated in the initiative. Donations of laptops and tablets were presented to that Ministry as well as other educational institutions.
Several non-profit organization’s, such as the Prison Fellowship Barbados and Lions Club of Barbados, clubs and churches are also beneficiaries of BNOCL’s sponsorship and charitable assistance.
