As one of our core values to enhance the youth of Barbados, especially those who may be challenged, the Barbados National Terminal Company Ltd. (BNTCL) made a donation to the Food Preparation Department of the Challenor Creative Arts & Training Centre to purchase a popcorn machine which will be used for fundraising activities.

Upon being contacted about donating to this cause, Operations Engineer, Mr. Kirk King was very eager to assist, and said “we strongly believe in supporting our youth not only academically, but creatively as well in order to foster well rounded leaders for our nation.”

The presentation took place on the scenic and tranquil grounds of the “hidden gem” of a school on Thursday, June 9 and Principal, Ms. Sonia Pile, Deputy Principal, Ms. Juliette Cumberbatch and Head of the Food Preparation Department, Ms. Mona Lashley, were extremely grateful for the donation.  Ms. Lashley said the funds will go a long way in helping sustain the department and school at large.
